The End is Only The Bigining

In the las chapters of the book a lot of shocking things happen I really can’t stop reading. Know that a new character have appear, Katsa, Po and Bitterblue are trying to escape from the King, but Po is to injury and stays back. Katsa is really sad of letting Po alone but is necessity and they hope they will see each other again. They continue their trouble to the mountains were the two of them will be safe, but Katsa has almost being killed by a lion. Bitterblue and Katsa are finally in Po´s castell that now is Katsa´s. in there they find all Po´s family and Leck, Leck was about to told all Po secret so Katsa kill him because she wanted to silence him. After some days they decide to go back for Po, when they find him he was all right but Katsa realize something that anyone ells do, he was blind. Like I usually do in all my blogs I will not tell what happen next because otherwise I will ruined the book for someone that will like to read it.

In the last chapters, it apear the quote:

"You've made it across Grella's Pass," she said to Bitterblue, "all in one piece. You're a strong girl."
Bitterblue wrapped her arms around Katsa. She kissed Katsa's cheek and held on to her tightly. If Katsa had had enough energy for astonishment, she would have been astonished. Instead, she hugged the girl back numbly. Pg. 357

I really like this quote because it show the relationship between Bitterblue and  Katsa, they are like sisters that support each other. The words use by the author are have a really good use because it can transmit you the feelings that exist between the to girls. Also this quote remind me to my sister and I because katsa is like an older sister for Bitterblue. My sister also tell me things that make me feel better wen I’m down.  

 

One quote that can change all the end is when kasta find Po and he is really different:

She whispered. "Po. Are you blind?" pg. 445

When I read this part of the book I was about to cry because is really sad. She know him so well she is the only one to realize this and because she know how he is she don’t tell it out loud. This farce could change everything between the two of them. I had some many questions while reading. Like, what happen to him? Or if this could end the relationship between the two of them? But my bigger questions is what will be like to suddenly one day be blind, how it is that you need to change everything  to survive:

Love is in the Air

Katsa and Po each time get along better, but she discover that Po actually is a mind reader, his Grece is mind reading , I thought it was fighting or something like that… but he can only lessen when people are thinking about him but he ask Katsa to don’t tell anyone because not a lot of people now. Know we have a big problem because Po make Keats fell weak because she is each time more in love. While the story continue Katsa and Po are finally together and they are staring to find out Knew things about their Grace like that the real Grace of Katsa it isn’t really fighting but servable. For the other side they are still trying to figure out how will want to kidnap his Tealiff. After some time Ketas and Po find out that Leck was responsible for Tealiff and he might be a Graceling. LEck have the Grace of making anyone believe what he want but he want Po death because he can discover his truth but want Katsa alive because she can be useful.  Finally, a new character is introduce and his name is Bitterblue.

 

And then, with all her might, she focused her attention on the back of Po's head and screamed his name, inside her mind. Pg.187

The best part of this quote is what happened after this. Po actually heard her so he is mind reading. I like how they are playing with their super ability and discovering knew things. This quote remember me to a teacher of math that once told us how if you see for 30 seconds the back of the head of a person after a while they will look you back. This make me wonder how many power a person’s mind have. What is possible to do with human mind?

 
Like in all love story the cuple have fights but in the case of this tow everything is different:
Katsa didn't know heat was wrong with her when she woke the next morning. She cound't explain the fury she felt toward him. there was no explanation; and perhaps he know that, because he asked for none. Pg. 227
Katsa was mad at Po but the real question is if she is mad ate herself for falling for him? In my opinion she is confuse because she have never felt like this before and at the end he knows what is happening. But none of them do something about it. The moment I was reading I didn’t know why she didn’t talk instead of think about it’

I’m almost finish with the book and I can’t wait for knowing the end. I have so many questions that need to be answer, I what katsa and Po together. Also I need to know who is Bitterblue specially because is the name of the second book, and what she have to do with all the things that are happening. I really love this book because I like the fantasy and love to see the love story that grow each time more.

How I imagine Katsa and Po relationship

 

I’m still reading Graciling, this book take place in seven kingdoms and Prince Tealiff has been kidnapped but the question was who kidnapped the prince. We know that King Randa of Middluns, Katsa uncle didn’t do it and obesely Lienid king eider because is his father also king Leck can’t be because prince Taliff is his father-in-law but the rest of the kingdoms aren’t trustworthy. Katsa and her friends are in a secret mission to find Tealiff where she get to now Po another Graceling. The two of them are really good at fighting so they practice together, together they will find how kidnapped prince Thaliff.  


 


While I was reading I saw a quote, when ketsa meet Po and it really kind of shock me:




His eyes. Katsa had never seen such eyes. One was silver, and the other, gold. They glowed in his sun-darkened face, uneven, and strange. She was surprised they hadn't shone in the darkness of their first meeting. They didn't seem human. She couldn't stop looking at them. pg. 56


I really liked this quote because it make me thing how people fall in love immediately without even knowing they are. I like the words the author use because it makes you fill part of the book, also some people can feel identify because that can happen to anyone, is like when you see someone that you like and you can’t stop seeing that person because you are just so in love with the person. For the other side I was really excited because Katsa had finally meet someone like her with the one she can train and be together. I hope they will have a magical love story where they change all the discrimination against Gracelinng people.


 


A quote that I really like because of the confidence of Katsa at saying was:

"If I'd been trying to kill him, he'd be dead," Katsa said and Po laughed again. "He wouldn't be laughing," she added, "if it were that bad."

Pg. 87

 


I love the selection of words that the author use because it transmit you the confidence of the character. It only show you how Katsa have the magical power everyone would like to have because she can kill anyone she wants, it sound weird that I said that everyone will like to have this power but it’s true, have you ever wonder what will happened if you could kill your enemies? Well I have wonder, sometimes I think what will happened if I could kill the persons that damage other people and if this will help to have a better society or not. But the best part it is still the fact that Ketsa is talking with Po I will really like to see a love grow between the two of them.


 


I’m so into this book I can’t stop reading. If you haven’t read it yet I will really recommend to do it because is so good, it have the perfect combination of genders, action, fantasy and love. This are the kind of things that make a book really good and make the book for everyone because if you like action you will like the book because it’s have killings, but if you like love stories the book it’s for you too because of the new love between Katsa and Po and also fantasy because is a really estrange story about special conditions about graces.
