Graceling

Katsa 

In the last week we start to read some knew books in my case I´m reading Graceling a magical story about katsa. She is one of them, this means that she is a Grace, a person with an especial ability of doing something better than the rest, this persons can be identify because they have one eye of each color. She don’t knows what is hers yet but some people believe that it’s killing because once she kill someone by accident. Most of the people don’t know she is a grace because if they discover this maybe they will kill her because she can be dangerous. Know she is escaping from somewhere, sleeping everyone that is in her way but if she and her friends make one think wrong everything will be rounded. In her way after drugging almost all the guard she find Lienid another graceling but he didn’t fight he just step aside, but Katsa didn’t trust him so knock him and drug him.


While I was Reading the book and I didn’t know what Graceling mean yet a quote really surprise me


“I know a Graceling when I see one. He jabbed with his sword, and she rolled out the way. Let me see the colors of your eyes, boy. I´ll cut them out. Don’t think I won’t.”


 ( Cashore 6).


This quote question me a lot, I couldn’t stop thinking what was a Graceling and why did they hate them so much. While I read I start to understand what where they and that people hate them so much because they were different in a seatrain way even superior. There is like real life a lot of people when they see someone superior to them they discriminated them because that’s easier. 


 


A quote that put me really mad was when a kind of cousin of ketsa tell her:


“what is your Grace, my sweetness? Storytelling? mind  reading? I know you’re a dancer.”


I was mad, because it’s like saying woman can’t do it, he is just like woman need to do something week. This is not true woman can be strong and do the same thing as man, even some times better than man. Have you never wonder why man always discriminate woman and think they are lees?


 


I really like this book so far. It’s one f that book that with fantasy makes you believe that you can to anything. I think that in a way shows the power of woman. I want to keep reading an know what will happen with Katsa and if she would find others like her that don’t work for the king. Like how I like to call it the real story of a friend that have one eye of each color.

 

THE END

Seven months later Kasey is finally striding to talk again she is in a treatment center and she is getting better and she have some friends. Alexis and her father went to live one the other side of town to a small place. She is really concentrate on photography, Megan and her are known friends. For the other side carter and her are friends  for now it’s not a good moment for anything else but they are going to the dance together.

 “made friends with the wrong ghost”

It’s a really good words for the end of the book. I feel really connected to this because I have always believe that ghost are real. I really like this quote is really simple but at the same time can reprecend a lot things. If you can connect it to real mean can mean that some times you can be friends with the wrong person and this can heart you a lot.

The end of this book was really confusing I really didn’t understand a lot of things that happen and the end I still don’t know if Megan is death and she is a ghost or she is alive. But at the same time I really love it and I know that I will read it again, I think that want you read more than once a book you understand some details better than the first time. I will recommend this book for anyone because is really good, and the them that live you is really inspiring. 

Mind Control

Kasey is possess, Alexis don’t know what to do but what she know is that she wants to kill Megan, a mean cheerleader and that Alexis need to stop it. Somehow Alexis figure all. Kasey was possess by Megan’s mom, Sarah, a long time ago she use to live in that house  and  supposed to kill Megan but die in a fire and know she is back to finish what she had start. Sarah try to kill Alexis when they are trapped in a room but Kasey find a way to stop her. know alexis is having problems to and the dolls have convence her a lot of thigs.  A wile after they burn the hose down with Sarah inside and she despair.

Hear is when they finally know what is happening with Kasey, you don’t really know what to think that moment. I was so scared I stop reading but after to second I had to read again. What will happen with Megan and Alexis? Will Kasey still be there, somewhere in her body?

“ the doll… the doll had convinced me to kill my sister”         

Know Kasey is not the only one that is turning crazy know Alexis is two. The only difference is that she realized on time. The words that the author use are really simple but can make you feel a lot, and can scare you in have of a second. 

Being honest I just what to finish this book, I really like it and I think I will recommend it but is to scarier for me. I love scarier things but this book is different is to real. I think that they will find a way to get out of all the chaos and that Kasey will be traumatize for a long time.

The red "x"

Alexis and Kasey went home living their father in the hospital.  Once again the story of the girl and the doll appears but this time on Alexis dreams, when she woke up everything was so cold and she was really scared. For the other side Carter and Alexis is going to homecoming dance together. Some days after Alexis don’t find her freshman year book so she go to Kasey room to find it. The only thing she finds is the book with a lot of “x”  mark in the face of people, when she was living the door shut and Alexis figure out that Kasey was the responsible for the accident of her father.

 This quote is when Alexis is dreaming about the girl obsessed with her dolls and scared me more than ever:

“ A crowd of kids has gathered around her, and I’m one of the crowd”  

In the story that Alexis tell the girl is chased by other kids because of the doll but this time Alexis is one of them.  This quote is really peculiar especially because of the words the author use. This words make you remember what was happening before, also helps you connecting both stories and once again the only thing you can think about is what is happening with Kasey. 

“but Megan’s was different.

There was a big, red X drawn through her picture”

This quote appear when Alexis find the year book in Kasey bedroom. This quote make me question a lot of things about the book. Like Why Megan? What she had to do with all this? Megan did appear once before in the book but she didn’t seem important, they only talk about her once and didn’t say much but know she seems to be the center of the problem.

 

This book is each time more difficult to understand and can confuse you a lot. Still I want to keep reading and discover what will happen. Some days when I was reading I had to stop because it was so scarier that it feels real, it like you are part of the story and in any minuet you will die or something bad bill happen. While reading I feel like I’m Alexis and I’m the only how and stop all this for happening. Is really wired how I fell when I read this book and I’m really into the book. 

The Change of Color

I’m still reading "Bad Girls Don’t Die" and each time is scariest, know Alexis is mad at Kasey but she is still wearied about her, she don’t find  her. Alexis take her thing for taking pictures doing a lot of noise and went down stairs but she isn’t the eider. She think that Kasey is in the basement but she is really afraid of it. Like a good sister she go and look for her, went she find her she ask for something weird, she ask for a story of little kids. Alexis finally told her the story, but something wired happened to her while she was doing this. It was like she can’t control what she says, the story was about a girl and her doll. Kasey even thought that the story was about her but the girl had green eyes.  When they were talking Alexis saw her different her eyes where green. They had a big fight and Kasey ruined her pictures Alexis get so mad she went to her room. Alexis didn’t really sleep, at the morning she went to see the pictures and this ones where ruined with blood she as more scared than ever. That day at the afternoon her dad had an accident, carter really help her and once more Kasey is really weird about everything that’s happening.

A quote that freak me out was when Alexis was talking with Kasey and saw this:

“And maybe I was just tired or something, but-

Her eyes…

They were green.

Vivid green.”

This quote surprise me a lot, I was already scared about Kasey when I saw this I freak out. This was just after all the things that happen on the basement when she say that she love green eyes and then say that the girl of the story with green eyes was her. I just didn’t know how to react, each time this book is scenarist and something bad is going to happen. 

This quote bring to my head a lot of questions:

“If one of us was in the hospital, he wouldn’t came,  she said.”

Kasey said this to Alexis when his father is on the hospital. My question is dose Kasey in a weird supernatural way have something to do with this? I start to believe that Kasey have some weird connection with the dolls and they will make her do bad things. 

This book is really good and I want to keep reading.  I think that in the future Kasey will became crazy and start to do rally bad things everything will go out of control. The only one that could help her will be Alexis. For the other said carter and Alexis will be together and when everybody think that she is crazy for all what happen with her sister he will help her.
